The consumer says that the coffee grinder has a defect which results in small screws coming loose inside the grinding chamber. A loud popping sound is produced, and a twisted, sharp little screw pops around until it enters the coffee ground recepticle.

A 59 YOM attempted to chop/ grind cumin seeds in a food grinder, when 1 of the stainless steel blades broke off of the hub, broke through the containment vessel & imbedded itself in a wall 6 ft away. Blade struck wall with force after penetration vessel to imbed into drywall.

74 YO consumer reports that the coffee grnder stopped working. Upon inspection they found that there were coffee grounds inside the unit and the plastic housing had been destroyed. The consumer had been ingesting pieces of plastic.
