The consumer stated that while using the electric cordless kettle, she found that an insulated (fiber wrapped) wire in the base started to melt through the plastic base

The consumer indicated that within the first year of use the auto shutoff feature of Electric Tea Kettle failed twice and the kettle kept boiling until consumer discovered it and manually shut it off. Kettle was almost boiled dry.

Consumer reported that their Electric Kettle has electronic temperature control module which operates relay in base of unit. Over last couple of months, relay in unit will stuck in "on" position & it'll then heat to boil, & if left unattended would boil dry.

A 17-YOM stated that this kettle heats up the outer metal portion too much and he has been burned on three separate occasions. First time his knuckles hit the metal while pouring. Second time his fingers were burned when closing the lid. Third time his arm touched the side.

Electric kettle ran three full cleaning cycles & it never automatically shut off, as it supposed to. After consumer tried it with very little water, it shut off & now it shuts off with any amount of water in it. It looks kettle isn't designed to handle continuous running.
