Electric pressure cooker came open as it was pressurizing. It was set to cook on high pressure for 15 minutes. Steam & a slight whistling came from the red float valve, then the lid popped off. The stew in the cooker erupted in a 3 ft radius. 41 yof's hand & stomach scalded.

40 YOF consumer had food from pressure cooker explode when she opened the lid. Food exploded all over her arm and chest. It also got ceiling and cupboards. Consumer ended having a scar on her forearm. Consumer tried to contact company.

Metal kneading paddle in bread making machine lifted off of hook while machine was kneading bread. It appears that hole in paddle was rubbing on hook. 39 YOF indicated that this caused non-stick coating, as well as tiny metal shavings to become incorporated in dough.

68 YOM reports that when the waffle maker is used at home, the batter rises and pushes open the unsecured lid. This allows steam to escape onto the handles. This occurred multiple times.

While 58 YOM was using turner/spatula to press down on hamburgers, tool broke where body of tool meets handle. Tool dropped onto hot grill and his hand came into contact with surface of grill. He received first aid by non-medical professional.

There was bee flying near & consumer attempted to use spatula to knock bee from air, handle & spatula separated, sending metal portion flying through air. It hit house & bounced off hitting 30 MOM in hand causing large cut on finger. He got medical treatment.

62 YO consumer stated, that two Multi-cookers, both developed cracks in their electronic control panel frames. Over time these cracks have worsened exposing a risk of liquids entering the electrical panel causing a short or electrocution.

Consumer filled 2 travel mugs with hot coffee. The lid of one suddenly, with considerable force, blew off the mug, dumping the contents. Consumer refilled mug, pushed button to seal it, turned it upside down and the lid blew off again.

Consumer reports that the electric pressure cooker poses a fire hazard. Consumer states that within a short time, the heating coil increases its temperature so much that the coating on the pot goes off, and at some point may cause a fire. Company replaced three times.

consumers were warming up some things on warming tray when all of a sudden they heard a pop, then sizzling, then there was terrible smell. 61 yof checked out warming tray & whole glass top of the tray had shattered. 61yof sustained minor injuries due to the incident.

Consumer says she was injured while inspecting a juicer on display in a store. She says as she reached for the handle, a metal strip on the handle closed and trapped the fleshy part of her palm between the thumb and index finger. It had no release button.

65 YOM consumer has pressure cooker in which the inner metal bowl is impossible to lift out of metal shell, even so with food inside. Both pieces are very hot. Only way to lift bowl is to let it cool, but food weighs 20 lbs. Once cooled, bacteria can grow inside pretty fast.
