Consumer reported that toaster caught fire a few weeks ago. The unit was in perfect order and cleaned (no crumbs or pieces of bread at bottom). Fire was coming out of all sides.

DeLonghi DTT720

  • Date: 2/12/2020

Consumer woke up in the middle of the night to the smell of smoke. He noticed in the kitchen that his toaster turned on by itself overnight and it was so hot that he was unable to turn it off by its ON/ OFF button. He unplugged the unit from the wall and discontinued its use.
