Consumer was standing in the kitchen & heard a noise near the oven. The consumer noticed that the inside panel of glass shattering. The oven had not been used in several days & was not turned on. The consumer opened the top oven door & glass was falling out all over the oven.

Gas range oven door, sides, & handle can become hot according to manual. Also after consumers preheated oven to 400 degrees, after 10 minutes, air blowing out top of oven door was measured at 300 degrees. It blows directly onto torso of cook at stove.

Consumer believes that the cooking Ventilation System has a safety flaw that may cause severe burns. The unit has a switch that actuates the unit & it rises out of the countertop. On 2 occasions, the accidental actuation causing the cooktop to rise & overturning pot on stove.

Consumer had pre heating an oven to a temp of 300F when it started arcing. The oven was completely replaced within the first year because the heat on the clean cycle didn't turn off & nearly burnt the house down. The oven was replaced & failed again when used the clean cycle.
