consumer received digital 14-cup food processor and has noticed that it will operate without the lid locked in place. consumer stated that It is one of the ones that are being recalled & poses a laceration hazard.

29 YOF sliced her thumb while cleaning a food processor blade. She received 5 stitches in a hospital.

Date: 1/4/2021
The consumer used the food processor for 3–4 minutes and it became extremely hot to the touch and emitted a burning odor. The consumer immediately turned it off and unplugged it from the outlet. Part of the plastic base, where the motor is, melted and showed discoloration.
