Consumer reported that freezer stopped working & repairman discovered short or fire damage in electronic temperature controller in front of freezer in door.

consumer is concerned about the safety of the baskets in the freezer. The previous upright freezer that she owned had a stopper to prevent the baskets from falling out of the freezer. When she pulled the bottom basket out of the new freezer, it came out and fell on her foot.
