Consumer reports that the freezer in the refrigerator caught fire causing extensive damage to his garage.

A fire official reported that they were called to a fire in the kitchen. Investigators determined that the fire origin was the bottom of the refrigerator near the compressor/motor. This was the 2nd time the investigator saw a similar fire a year ago with this brand of fridge.
