Consumer cut potato & threw it in slow cooker. She noticed defect in knife blade afterwards & found 1-inch slivered blade piece in food in slow cooker. Blade broke off mid-blade on cutting edge side. Another knife in set broke off in similar manner while cutting vegetable.
