The consumer stated that the dehumidifier was turned on. After one cycle, it made a weird noise, smoke came out of the unit and it stopped. He unplugged the unit. Later when plugged in, fan runs slow, or not at all, and after couple minutes smells like something burning.

39 YO consumer reports that while in another room they heard a loud noise. They found the room full of smoke and smelled of an electrical fire. The dehumidifier was still running and blowing smoke.
