67 YOM indicated that while they ran gas range self-clean feature at middle setting, near end of cycle backsplash developed two dark brown spots & with cracks in middle of each spot. Backsplash was hot to touch for more than two hours. Also 66 YOF was involved in incident.

Miele H4684B

  • Date: 5/31/2017

Consumer opened door of electric oven & suddenly glass exploded & flew all over kitchen. Consumer was left with handle in hand. One shard of glass hit consumer's face about 1" from eye. Consumer stated that it is bad design to have handle set into glass.
